Today, this little baby is known through medical reports, hospital visits and a diagnosis that no parent ever wants to hear.
At just one month old, Baby of Surekha Ganesh Waghmode has been diagnosed with Total Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Connection (TAPVC), a congenital heart condition. His cardiology reports further document Supracardiac TAPVC, a stretched PFO with right-to-left shunt, mild tricuspid regurgitation, mild pulmonary arterial hypertension, and dilation of the right atrium and right ventricle. But behind these medical terms is a tiny baby — and a family desperately hoping to see him grow up.

His parents, Surekha and Ganesh Waghmode, come from a financially struggling family. According to the income certificate submitted with the case, the family’s annual income for 2025–26 is only ₹40,000 — roughly ₹3,300 per month. waghmode cardiac case
For a family surviving on such limited means, arranging ₹3,50,000 for their newborn baby’s treatment is simply beyond their financial capacity. Yet this baby’s story deserves to be much bigger than a diagnosis.

It deserves birthdays, first steps, school days, playing with friends, calling his parents “Mummy” and “Papa,” and growing up surrounded by the family that is fighting for him today.
