Refund & Cancellation Policy

Important Notice

All donations made to Bloom One Foundation are generally non-refundable. Please read this policy carefully before making a donation.

1. General Policy

Donations to Bloom One Foundation are voluntary contributions made to support our charitable causes. As a registered non-profit organization, donations are typically considered final and non-refundable.

However, we understand that exceptional circumstances may arise, and we handle refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

2. Eligible Refund Scenarios

Refunds may be considered in the following situations:

  • Technical Errors: If you were charged multiple times due to a technical error
  • Wrong Amount: If you were charged an incorrect amount due to system malfunction
  • Campaign Cancellation: If a campaign is canceled before funds are transferred to the beneficiary
  • Fraudulent Campaign: If a campaign is found to be fraudulent (rare, as we verify all campaigns)
  • Accidental Donation: If you can demonstrate that the donation was made accidentally

3. Refund Request Timeline

  • Refund requests must be made within 7 days of the donation
  • Requests made after 7 days will not be entertained except in extraordinary circumstances
  • Once funds have been transferred to the beneficiary, refunds cannot be processed

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, follow these steps:

  1. Email us at contact@bloomonefoundation.org
  2. Include subject line: "Refund Request - [Your Transaction ID]"
  3. Provide the following details:
    • Full name
    • Email address used for donation
    • Transaction ID / Receipt number
    • Donation amount and date
    • Campaign name
    • Detailed reason for refund request
  4. Attach screenshot of payment receipt if available

5. Refund Processing

  • Review Period: We will review your request within 5-7 business days
  • Approval Notification: If approved, you will receive an email confirmation
  • Processing Time: Approved refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days
  • Payment Gateway Charges: Transaction fees (2-3%) charged by payment gateway are non-refundable
  • Refund Method: Refunds will be credited to the original payment method
  • Bank Processing: Additional 5-7 business days for bank processing

6. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will NOT be granted in the following cases:

  • Change of mind after making a voluntary donation
  • Disagreement with how funds were utilized (as per campaign description)
  • Campaign did not reach its goal but funds were still used for partial treatment
  • Personal financial difficulties after making donation
  • Requests made after funds have been transferred to beneficiary
  • Donations made more than 7 days ago (except in exceptional circumstances)

7. Cancellation Policy

For recurring donations or scheduled donations:

  • You can cancel future scheduled donations at any time by contacting us
  • Cancellation will take effect from the next billing cycle
  • Already processed donations are subject to our standard refund policy

8. Failed Transactions

  • If a transaction fails but amount is debited, it will be automatically refunded by the payment gateway within 5-7 business days
  • If automatic refund doesn't occur, contact us with transaction details
  • We will coordinate with Razorpay to expedite the refund

9. Dispute Resolution

If you disagree with our refund decision:

  • You may request a review by our management team
  • Provide additional documentation supporting your case
  • Management decision will be final
